In the spring of 2013 I became the 2nd owner of a (2010) Ranger 2310 Bayboat. The boat exceeded my expectations in every aspect with one exception. The aft scupper (left & right floor) drains allowed water to accumulate on the deck floor. Following multiple personal design resolutions the issue remained. I ultimately decided to return the boat to Ranger’s Flippin, AR service center. My 5 star rating was earned and in appreciation of Ranger’s decision to replace the scuppers with their current model (under warranty). Super company & Sev Ctn. Manager. Thank you Mike! Good quality boats and trailers, not the best place to work. I applied for work in finishing and was placed in trailers. I was told replace the jobs of two people. I am 5'6" and weigh 165lbs even though the job needed someone 6' and weighing closer to 230-250 like one of that I was replacing. I asked repeatedly to switch to a different department because I was too small to do my job safely and promptly. But was told there wasn't any other jobs open. Yet they had active job openings in nearly every department. No, they would rather me risk my life and others around me than to move me to a job that I was more comfortable doing. I worked a total of 6 days, I clocked in 15 minutes early every day and was never absent and yet they only want to pay me for half of my time. Yes, I quit working at Ranger Boats in Flippin Arkansas, I personally wouldn't recommend anybody work there. But this all is my opinion and I am not slandering the company or any one employee so there is no legal problems. I will never have anything else to do with Ranger Boats or any companies under them or brother/sistering them.
